The 16th annual Mother’s Day weekend event will take place at Floyd Lamb Park. This event is not just for Moms!! Men, women, kids…the whole family is welcome to come out and participate in the event! A great way to kick off Mother’s Day weekend!
Course:
The course starts at Group Area 5. The first part of the course is an out and back and the second part is a loop. It takes you out onto the crushed limestone basin trail surrounded by beautiful desert landscape, shaded picnic areas and views of the Sheep and Spring Mountains.
This course is different from your basic road or park trail 5K races. It’s fun, fast and provides a variety of terrain and scenery. There is nothing difficult and no trail shoes needed! The 1-mile fun walk participants will follow the same course. It is easy walking for the beginner as well as a fast course for the advanced runner that wants to PR!
