6pm - Joey Diaz with his F'd Up Friends
Some say he’s the best-kept secret in stand-up comedy: Joey Coco Diaz. His energy and his storytelling abilities are second to none. Joey most recently appeared on Netflix as mobster Buddha Bonpensiero in the Sopranos prequel film, The Many Saints of Newark. He’s also made memorable appearances in Taxi, Brooklyn NineNine, The Longest Yard, Spider-Man 2, Everybody Hates Chris, Grudge Match and My Name is Earl. Joey’s stand-up shines in storytelling series such as Netflix’s The Degenerates (2018) and Comedy Centra’s This is Not Happening (2019). Joey’s first full hour special, Sociably Unacceptable (2016), can be found on Amazon Prime and Peacock. Perhaps most notably, Joey’s voice found a captive audience in his podcast "Uncle Joey’s Joint", where he tells stories of his life and his criminal past, as well as how he made it to where he is today. He is also a regular guest on the massively popular podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience". Diaz’s brutally honest but wickedly funny stories brought him to the New York Times best seller list in his 2023 book, "Tremendous: The Life of a Comedy Savage". Joey’s a father and husband, but that hasn’t slowed him down- he continues to perform his electric stand-up in theatres across the country. His live performances are unpredictable, hilarious and dangerous all at once. If you get a chance to see him, you’ll realize it’s not what you say but how you say it that makes Joey a true comedian.

8:30pm - Dressed to Kill
With Connor Nutt and Scott Wharton
Grab your favorite sport coat and heels for Austin’s classiest comedy night, Dressed to Kill. The show is a throwback to the era of strong drinks, smoky lounges, and lewd humor. Expect your favorite comics in town dressed to the nines - guys in suits, gals in cocktail dresses, guys in cocktail dresses, gals in suits; whatever we’re not here to judge how someone gets fancy. We just tell em’ to bring their good shoes.
We’re talking about hi-balls and hitmen, smoking jackets, and hi-backed pumps. We’re celebrating the two-fisted martinis and the jokes that make your date blush. Because remember, folks, this ain’t your grandparent’s comedy show - this is tasteful threads with tasteless humor.
Dressed to Kill is dedicated to the legends that came up in the velvet curtain era, back when we dressed up to get on airplanes and watched Sammy Davis Jr roast Frank Sinatra with a smoke dangling off his lip.
Kill Tony and America’s Got Talent alum Ahren Belisle, ******* Forever star Rachel Wolfson, along with Austin killers like Mike Eaton, Ehsan Ahmad, and Genivive Clinton have all popped in - you never know which of your favorite comedians is next.
While audience participation isn’t mandatory, cocktail attire is strongly encouraged. If you love the old school, this is your chance to polish your loaders and press your slacks, or pull out that skirt you never get to wear.
We’ll see you in the lounge; we’ll be sipping on a Manhattan.
