The Walnut Creek Police Department will be hosting its annual city-wide National Night Out event Like years past, we are collaborating with Walnut Creek Arts and Rec for activities and Movie Under the Stars at Civic Park for a free screening of a movie directly after National Night Out! So, mark your calendars and come join us for two times the fun on 8/5/25!

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building event that promotes partnerships between law enforcement agencies and the community they serve. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out nationwide on the first Tuesday in August (with certain areas celebrating on the first Tuesday in October). Many neighborhoods host community events including but not limited to block parties, festivals, or cookouts where first responders visit and participate. National Night Out creates a positive environment for local police and neighbors to interact and create positive relationships.

Strengthen partnerships that keep our neighborhood a safe and inviting place to live
