The Nebraska State Fair welcomes acts ranging from comedy to country, rock to Christian to the Nebraska Lottery Concert Series. Admission to all paid events is limited, so fans will need to buy their tickets in advance at StateFair.org.

7:30 p.m. - Skillet and Theory of a Deadman
Skillet has spent nearly 30 years rocking the world with their rebellious sound, earning two GRAMMY® nominations, a Billboard Music Award, and multiple platinum and gold certifications. With over 22 million units sold and 10 million monthly Spotify listeners, their hit “Monster” remains one of the most-streamed rock songs of all time. Their music has been featured by WWE, Marvel, ESPN, and the NFL, while their high-energy performances have taken them to 26 countries across four continents. Now, the band continues their legacy with their first independent album, Revolution, led by the powerful single “Unpopular.”
Theory of a Deadman has dominated hard rock for over two decades with their heavy riffs, sharp humor, and multiplatinum hits, including “Bad Girlfriend,” “RX (Medicate),” and “Hate My Life.” Rising from their small-town roots in North Delta, British Columbia, they’ve landed multiple Top 10 albums on the Billboard charts and received praise from American Songwriter, Billboard, and Classic Rock Magazine. Now, the band continues their legacy with a fresh wave of anthems, starting with their latest single, “Dinosaur.”
