10am, 12pm, & 2pm: Beautiful Beach Trail Rides at Newport Equestrian Academy, 287 Third Beach Rd. Just 10 mins from Newport!

We offer beautiful 2hr beach trail rides, a scenic trail ride with a castle up on the Hill, it looks like you're in Ireland with breathtaking Coastal views. Inexperienced riders are welcome. We do give you instruction before you go out.

10:30am: Winterfest Storytime at Rosecliff, 548 Bellevue Ave, Newport

An annual tradition, WinterFest Story Time at the Newport Mansions is a celebration of the winter season! Families can listen to a winter-themed story, participate in craft projects and visit Rosecliff Mansion's historic ballroom. This program is geared toward participants ages 4 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited so advance registration is necessary.

10:30am-3:30pm: Sea Shell Frame Art Classes at Cutie Curls, 49 Long Wharf Mall, Newport

11:00am Teddy Bear Musical Celebration and Story Time at Newport Harbor Hotel, 49 America's Cup Ave, Newport

Bring your favorite Teddy Bear and listen to the musical storyteller Christopher ‘Kavi' Carbone share captivating stories and songs of the wonders of winter, while having tea for adults and milk and cookies for children presented by the Newport Harbor Hotel. 11am, 1pm & 3pm: Guided Tours of Historic Fort Adams at Fort Adams State Park, 90 Fort Adams Drive, Newport, RI

Visit Historic Fort Adams, America's most complex coastal fortification. Guided tours take you to the top of the Forts ramparts for a spectacular view of Newport Harbor, then deep beneath the walls into the underground listening tunnels.

11am-3pm: Boat Building Activity at The Newport Sailing Museum, 365 Thames Street

Come visit The Sailing Museum and build your very own wooden sailboat! The kit includes everything you need to construct, paint, and launch your new 9" wooden toy boat. Once complete, take it home to sail all summer in a pool, lake, or display on your shelves. Located in our Mosbacher Room on the second floor of the museum. A great activity for ages 5 and up.
