Celebrate summer in the city with a 5K run in Queens! Enjoy the sights and sounds of Flushing Meadows Corona Park, one of NYC's largest outdoor public spaces. You'll run around historic sites from the 1964 World's Fair (the park also hosted the World's Fair in 1939) while overlooking Citifield (home our beloved New York Mets baseball team) and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (home of the US Open). Once you reach the finish line and WIN YOUR RACE, you'll cool off with a well-earned ice cream (or ice pop) treat!
This USATF-certified course is a unique run around around the park, passing by the iconic Unisphere and other iconic landmarks before reaching the Finish Line.
Awards will be given to the top three male, female and non-binary runners overall (by gun time). Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each of the following age groups (by net time): 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
