The name "Olathea Creek Vineyard & Winery" comes from the history of the land. The vineyard was once the campsite for the Sauk and Fox tribes. The term "olethe" in Fox means beautiful. Beautiful is the perfect adjective to describe the property. The property features a picturesque creek and provides a quiet, country setting along the majestic Mississippi River.
