Old-Fashioned Fourth of July at Newell Pioneer Village
Step back in time and celebrate Independence Day like it's 1859! Join us at Newell Pioneer Village for an old-fashioned Fourth filled with music, laughter, and local flavor set on the beautiful grounds of a historic Oregon landmark.
This free, family-friendly event is a celebration of both American independence and the spirit of small-town community. All proceeds from lunch and the pie auction go directly toward keeping the museum open and thriving- so every bite and bid helps!

2:00 PM – Independence Day Program
- Step into the past with a glimpse of 1850s Fourth of July traditions
- Meet a real mountain man reenactor
- Sing along to classic patriotic songs
- Test your knowledge with history trivia
- Cheer on the finalists in our Pie Baking Contest
$6 Hot Dog Lunch available on site — come hungry!
