The Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® (AKA), is pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Orange Peel to Pavement 5K Run/Walk. Alpha Gamma Eta Omega is a newly chartered AKA chapter nestled in the picturesque Hudson Valley.

Committed to Soar F.I.R.S.T. with Impact in Sisterhood, Service and Scholarship under the leadership of multi award-winning President, Sonya D. Fiol-Grant.

The goal of the Orange Peel to Pavement 5k Run/Walk is to promote Mental Health Awareness and to provide college scholarships for Orange County, NY H.S. seniors. Fundraising efforts underwrite the stellar community service programs that the interest group will provide. The Orange Peel to Pavement 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 registration begins at 8:00am at the Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery, NY 12549. It will be a fun-filled day for participants and spectators alike, featuring a 5k run and a walk for those who prefer a more leisurely pace.

There will also be food, music for people of all ages to enjoy.
