Jazz Series / Orlando Latin Jazz Festival: Dimas Sanchez is the Puerto Rican percussionist brother of multiple Grammy winner David Sanchez. Dimas is a beloved staple of the Orlando Latin Jazz scene, and he has worked tirelessly to educate Orlando about Puerto Rican music, and performs both new Afro Jazz, as well as the rich folkloric traditions of that beautiful island.

Jazz Series / Orlando Latin Jazz Festival / Artists in Resonance: Timucua AiR presents “Origen”, led by Diego Rivera
Origen (“Origin”) is a Latin-Jazz collaborative project exploring the origins and depths of Latin music, through the lens of its native and African-influenced heritages. The participants of Origen have joined forces, combining their various cultural backgrounds, to explore the purposes of this music and how it was used in daily traditions. The sense of oneness that has been created by way of Latin-influenced rhythms and sounds is what this project aims to communicate through thoughtful compositions, visual art, and high-energy performances.

Known for Electrifying performances, Dynamic and captivating shows, Classic salsa songs, and Preserving the history and tradition of salsa music.
