Schedule:

5K Start - 7:30 am
The 5K event starts on 5th Street, between High and Pearl.

10K Run Start - 8:00 am
The 10K event starts on 43rd Street at Spencer Butte Middle School (500 E 43rd Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97405).

4 Mile Mayor's Fitness Walk Start - 8:30 am
The 4 Mile Walk starts on 43rd Street at Spencer Butte Middle School (500 E 43rd Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97405).

Course Info:

10K Run:

The 10K (6.2 Miles) course begins at Spencer Butte Middle School (500 E 43rd Ave) with a half mile tour of the neighborhood to the west, before turning onto the Donald Street Hill, followed by a downhill to a flat and fast finish on 5th Street, between High and Pearl.

5K Run/Walk:

The 5K (3.1 Miles) course starts and finishes on 5th Street, between High and Pearl, with an out-and-back heading down High Street, Amazon Parkway and looping back at 24th. 

4 Mile Fitness Walk:

The course for the Mayor's Fitness Walk starts at Spencer Butte Middle School at 500 E 43rd Ave, heading east and follows the flat portion of the OTC Butte to Butte course to finish on 5th between High and Pearl.

Awards & Prizes:

Overall Awards

The top three female and male finishers overall in the 10K and 5K events will receive prize money, an age group medallion and a floral bouquet from Rhythm & Blooms. They will be celebrated at the finish, getting their photo taken as they receive their flowers and prize money check.

The 5K overall awards will be at 8:05am on the main stage. The 10K overall awards will be at 9:05am on the main stage. 
Age Group Awards Presented by Kendall Auto Group

The top three female and male finishers in each age division in the 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer runs will receive medallions. There are no awards in 4 mile walk.  Age group medallions will be available at the results tent on race day. No age group awards will be mailed out after the event. Age group awards must be claimed at the results tent on race day.

Divisions for the 10K and 5K include 5-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99

State Winners

New this year! The first male and female finisher from each of the 50 states, in the 10K and 5K will receive a medallion.

10K Prize Money:

$250, $200, $150 - The top three overall men and women will receive prize money ($250, $200, and $150 respectively). The top three men and women will be celebrated at the finish, getting their photo taken as they receive their flowers and prize money check.
$100 - The top one masters (40 & Over) male and female finishers in the 10K will receive $100.
$50 - The King and Queen of the Uphill and Downhill in the 10K will each receive $50 per award.
$50 -The first male and female to reach 24th & Amazon Parkway will each receive $50 per award.
$100 - An additional $100 will be awarded to a male or female establishing a new overall event record.
$50 - Every male to break 30 minutes and every female to break 34 minutes will receive a $50 cash bonus.

5K Prize Money:

$200, $150, $100 - The top three overall men and women will receive prize money ($200, $150 and $100 respectively). The top three men and women will be celebrated at the finish, getting their photo taken as they receive their flowers and prize money check.
$100 - The top one masters (40 & Over) male and female finishers in the 5K will receive $100.
$50 - The first male and female to the corner of 24th & Amazon Parkway will receive a $50 cash prize.
$50 - In the 5K, every male to break 14:30 and every female to break 16:30 will receive a $50 cash bonus.

Runners can only claim the 10K and 5K on-course awards if they finish the race. Cash awards are based on Gun Time, not Net Time (Chip Time). Prize money will be mailed to winners after the event, based on verification.
