Shiloh Museum of Ozark History is hosting the 47th Annual Ozark Quilt Fair on Saturday, September 13th, from 10 am to 2 pm on the grounds of Shiloh Museum in Springdale. This year’s festivities will include live music by the Roving Gambler Band, food for sale by Icy Kids of NWA and Corbett’s Hot Dogs, free quilt-themed art making activities for youth and families, and a scavenger hunt. We will be awarding Viewers Choice prizes for both new and antique quilt categories. First prize in each category is $100; second prize is $50; and third prize is $25. Awards are presented at 2 pm.

This event is FREE to the public. Exhibitor cost is $15. Registration includes boxed lunch, and exhibitors may order additional lunches for their group. See form below for registering and more details.

Exhibiting and Other Details

Exhibiting: Ropes will be stretched between trees or poles for hanging quilts. Each exhibitor may plan to use up to 15 feet of the ropes, unless space and number of quilters in attendance allow for more or less. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. Please bring chairs and tables if you want extra display space. Clothespins and cloth buffers are provided by the museum.

Security: Shiloh Museum staff and volunteers will be at the event all day, but YOU are the best security for your quilts. We encourage exhibitors to stay with their quilts to interact with the public. Attendess enjoy the opportunity to hear about your quilts and the stories that go with them.

Food: The registration fee of $15 includes one boxed lunch for the exhibitor. Additional lunches may be purchased in advance for $10 each.

Awards: Viewers Choice prizes will be awarded in both new and antique categories. First prize in each category is $100; second prize is $50; and third prize is $25. Voting will end at 1:30 pm and awards will be presented at 2:00 p.m.

Quilt Sales: Sales of quilts will not be allowed on museum grounds. Attendees and quilters may make arrangements to buy or sell off museum property.
