Parish Festival - Avon, St. Benedict Parish

Avon - St. Benedict Parish festival starts on church grounds with outdoor polka Mass at 10 a.m. with music by the Jerry and Joyce Band. (Bring chairs.) Event includes food and refreshment stands, beer garden, games for all ages, all-day bingo, pull tabs, straw stand, cake walk and meat raffle. New this year: Charlie the Clown (12:30 to 3 p.m.), unicycle show and balloon animals. Live music by Two for the Road from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sportsman’s raffle. Quilt auction and theme-basket drawings at 2:30 p.m. Grand raffle at 6 p.m. Cash raffle grand prize is $5,000.
