Hosting the 2025 USA Triathlon Ultra Distance National Championships!
The Peasantman Steel Distance Triathlon Series takes place on the third Sunday of every August at Indian Pines Park in Penn Yan, New York. The race also made Triathlete Magazine's list of Best Iron Distance Races in North America in 2023. Our own 'Steel Distances' are just slightly longer than traditional triathlon distances, due to a longer bike course. With eleven races to choose from - with Sprints right on up through Fulls - there is a race for you. Scroll down for race details or click the button to register. Online race registration always closes at 5pm on the Friday immediately before the race. Registration during packet pickup on Saturday is allowed, but only in person. We do not permit registration on race day.
Packet pickup for Peasantman takes place the day before the event at the race site at Indian Pines Park. This is when you'd pick up your race packet, rack your bike, and attend the athlete's meeting.
12:00 pm - 5:30 pm - packet pickup and bike racking.
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - swim clinic with Ryan Lawrence
2:30 pm - Kids' Splash and Dash (2pm check in - see details below)
4:30 pm - Athlete's Meeting
5:30 pm - Packet pickup ends
Race registration during packet pickup IS allowed, but ONLY in person, as electronic registration will be closed by then.
