The Pennington 5K benefits the HOPEWELL VALLEY YMCA and HOPEWELL VALLEY MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE. Through the works of these two community organizations, we are able to promote community development, youth development and the continued unification of our community.
Event Schedule:
1 Mile Kids Fun Run (GRADES K-8) (Begins at 8:30 am)
5K Run/Walk (Begins at 9:15 am )
USATF certified/sanctioned The event is conducted through the streets of Pennington Borough • The course is walker friendly • Traffic & safety monitored by Pennington Borough Police, Hopewell Township Police, and First Aid Coverage through mutual aid.
Make sure to hydrate prior to the race! Water Stations will be available throughout the course.
Runners may begin to check-in starting at 8:00 am to receive their bib and t-shirt. Please make sure to have your Bib # information with you that has been emailed to you from SSRTiming.
Runners will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.
Day of registration will be available on site via electronic registration, QR code, and iPad registration stations. If you are registering the day-of, payment will be collected electronically via the onsite electronic registration system. So bring a credit card or your Paypal information in order to complete registration. Upon completing your registration, you will need to show your receipt with Bib # to be assigned your Bib.
The Pennington 5K will be starting and ending at the Hopewell Valley Food Pantry, located at 425 South Main St. Please consider donating a canned food item to the food pantry to help support families in need.
