Please join us for the 3rd annual Plaid Nation 5K, the official kick-off to RBC Heritage week, South Carolina’s annual PGA TOUR golf tournament. The fun continues after the race, walk on over to the BANK Hilton Heads Beer Garden for the official Plaid Nation After Party.

Plaid Nation is the spirit that makes the RBC Heritage the most unique stop on the PGA TOUR.  It’s families and friends coming together year after year to be a part of something big, memorable and fun and now it includes a 5K run.

Schedule:

8:00AM - Packet Pickup for anyone unable to make it on the 12th.
8:45AM - Race Announcements & Warm Up
9:00AM - Race Start
9:30AM - After party begins sponsored by Michelob Ultra, Coke, Brooks Running, Nutra Shop, Taste of Mexico, Rita's Ice Cream, The Bank, Hilton Head Coffee & Palmetto Running Company.
10:15AM - Awards Ceremony

11:00AM Post-Race Party at the Bank Beer Garden

Course Info:

The race will begin at the beautiful Lowcountry Celebration Park. This scenic course will then take you through the South Forest Beach neighborhood through hidden paths and back to the park for the Plaid Nation After Party and Festival!

Runners are required to follow all pedestrian traffic laws. There will be officers on duty at high traffic intersections to ensure safety for all participants.

Awards:

Overall Male and Female 5K winners receive a Plaid Nation trophy and 2 tournament tickets. 2nd place a Brooks Running race kit including a shirt, shorts and shoes ($300 value). 3rd place a $100 Palmetto Running Company gift card.
