For the 7th Year running, Put on the Cape and PLEA Charities presents the Superhero 5k!
For the first time TWO heroes, Superman and Supergirl, are highlighted with a dual sided medal with both heroes signatiure "S"!
Returning to Friendship Park in Avondale, the event is part of the annual "Kid Fest" and is open to families of all ages.
Participants are encouraged to dress like any character from the Superman Universe.
Proceeds from this event support the Southwest Family Advocacy Center serving Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, and MCSO. The center is an oasis for victims of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
