Join The Literacy Connection for our first-ever Poetry and Literacy Festival fundraiser! This daylong event in Elgin, IL will feature workshop learning and guest speakers, as well as an open mic and Poetry Slam. All are invited to be a part of this celebration of National Poetry Month while raising important funds for our adult literacy work in the community.

Festival Schedule:

10:00 AM - Poetry Workshop led by Chasity Gunn (at Elgin Community College)
2:00 PM - Guest Speaker Diego Báez (at Elgin Community College)
7:00 PM - Open Mic & Poetry Slam (at Elgin Art Showcase)
