Come celebrate the season with us at the Prosper Christmas Festival. The Town’s premier event of the year is a wonderland of holiday-themed attractions (with the stunning Town Hall as backdrop!) with entertainment for all ages and cozy spaces to mix, mingle, and shop. Numerous Sponsors and Exhibitors come together to make this event more than just a gathering. The Prosper Christmas Festival is an engaging community experience and Christmas celebration like no other

Festivities include Santa’s Workshop, Kids Christmas Shoppe, Horse-drawn Carriage Rides, Kid Zone, Santa's Selfie Station, Community Stage performances, cookie decorating and twinkling exhibits packed with gifts and goodies for sale. Just before 7 p.m., children will gather with Prosper Mayor David Bristol for the countdown to the Community Tree Lighting, followed by the event finale, a spectacular drone show.

Rotary Club Christmas Parade:
The Prosper Rotary Club Christmas Parade at 2:30 p.m. is the traditional opening act for the Prosper Christmas Festival. Floats and vehicles, Town officials, Town staff and Santa Claus travel down Broadway Street to Prosper Town Hall to kick off the event.  Parade-goers are encouraged to find a spot along 5th Street or Broadway Street to watch the show.

Main Attractions:

Community Tree Lighting at 7PM
About 6:45 p.m., children begin to gather at Prosper's traditional tree for the annual lighting led by Mayor David Bristol! Excitement builds with the count down and, as the tree lights, a spectacular drone show begins.

Santa’s Workshop
Plan to visit Santa Claus in his workshop from 3:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Prosper Christmas Festival! There will be creative fun while you wait and complimentary keepsake photos for all who would like them. How it works: Growing Sprouts Photography will capture studio-quality portraits of your family inside the workshop and you will be given a personalized unique access code. Once photos are processed, you’ll be notified of the gallery's availability. You can browse the gallery to select your favorite image for a complimentary digital download and additional prints and digital copies will be available for purchase

Kids Christmas Shoppe
The Kids Christmas Shoppe is the place where young shoppers learn the art of giving! Children are guided through the secure environment to select and purchase gifts for family, friends and pets.  Gifts are reasonably priced and the spending limit per child is $20. Preferred method of payment is credit card. Cash will also be accepted.

Register your child for a 15-minute shopping shift when you arrive at the event! Registration opens at 2:30 PM.

Community Stage
Enjoy all the amazing performances by local school choirs, dance groups and solo artists throughout the festival

The festival finale is an exciting Drone Show that follows the Community Tree Lighting with Mayor Bristol.
