This race is the 9th annual 5K walk, race, bike event sponsored by the Prince Hall Masons in the State of Illinois to bring awareness to and support for Prostate cancer, screenings, early detection, treatment options, and on-going research. The race is held at 4 locations simultaneously, Chicago, Aurora, East. St. Louis, and Springfield IL. The race is open to anyone interested in participating in the conversation of Prostate Cancer Awareness or who want to support those affected by Prostate Cancer. Race/Walk/Bike participants must be 12 yrs and older. A waiver must be signed. All proceeds raised are donated towards Prostate Cancer awareness and research and assist with free screenings.
Location #1: 809 E. 42nd Place. Run/Bike/Walk east to Oakenwald St. Turn north to 41st (about ½ block). Cross over the bridge and at bottom of bridge: bikers go left to bike trail and head north to 35th St. and runners/walkers go right to walking trail and head north to 35th St. At 35th, crossover the bridge and head west to Cottage Grove then turn south ending at the finish line at 809 E. 42nd Pl
