Porter-Leath is Celebrating 31st Years of Its Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival! The Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival Presented by Valero is Sunday, April 21, 2024, From 11:00 a.m. To 7:00 P.m. In Downtown Memphis on Riverside Drive. Known as the Unofficial Start of Spring in Memphis, Rajun Cajun is One the Few Remaining Memphis Festivals That Does Not Charge an Admission Price in Order to Welcome All Mid-south Families to Enjoy a Fun-filled Day Together.
Over 35,000 Festival-goers Will Enjoy Live Music on Three Stages From Nationally-known and Local Award-winning Artists in Memphis, Games Including Crawfish Bobbing, Eating, and Racing, Arts & Crafts Vendors, and a Play Zone for Children Ages 12 and Under. Crawfish Bobbing - Contestants in This Game Try Not to Get in a "Pinch" as They Try to Pull as Many Live Crawfish Out of a Tub of Water Using Only Their Mouths! Contestants Must Be 18 or Older and Must Sign Up in Advance at the T-shirt Sales Tent Then Head to the Bayou Stage at 3:30 Pm!
Crawfish Racing - Children Love to Compete in This Game! Contestants and Onlookers Cheer and Shout to Help Their Live Crawfish Racers Make Across the Finish Line First. Walking Backward of Course! To Participate, Go to the Bayou Stage at 1:30 Pm on the Day of the Festival.
Swamp Vip Tent
The Most Popular and Exclusive Experience at Rajun Cajun is the King's Rightly Seasoned Vip Swamp Tent. From Noon Until 5:00 Pm That Afternoon, Attendees Enjoy an Unlimited Crawfish Buffet Including Other Cajun Cuisine, Desserts, Beer, and Beverages While Relaxing Under the Shade of the Big Tent. Tickets Are $150 Each or $280 Per Couple. This Experience Always Sells Out.
