Red, White & BOOM! is a free community event downtown.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 4 and join us for a spectacular FREE event kicking off at 6pm! Gates open at Riverfront Stadium, with a tantalizing array of food trucks set up around the Hyatt Lawn. The grand finale? A breathtaking fireworks show that will light up the night sky at 9:40pm!
-Hyatt Lawn-
Indulge in a feast from a variety of food trucks at the Hyatt Lawn! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a cozy, perfect spot to enjoy the evening. Watching the festive fireworks from this spot is a must-have tradition you won't want to miss!
-Riverfront Stadium-
Swing by Riverfront Stadium for an electrifying live performance by local favorites, The Astronauts! They'll be rocking out all evening. Enjoy concessions and comfy seating as you witness the largest fireworks display in the region. Remember to follow the Wind Surge clear bag policy when entering the stadium.

Street Closures
-McLean Ave. will close from Maple to Douglas from 5pm until completion of the fireworks show (approximately 10:30pm), and starting at the Hyatt entrance extending to the end of Lewis St. bridge at Maple and McLean Ave.
-The Arkansas River will be closed from the Lewis St. bridge to north of the Hyatt property line. Wichita Fire Department's River Rescue team will be patrolling the area to ensure everyone's safety during the event.
-The walking path along the west side of the Arkansas River that is adjacent to Riverfront Stadium will be closed from 7am-10:30pm.
Parking
Spectators can take advantage of free parking at the following locations.
-The surface lot east of the Hyatt at Waterman & Main St.
-The surface lot south of the Hyatt
-The gravel parking lots west of the Riverfront Stadium
