The 8th annual Red's Old Timers Blues Festival  will be held in the Martin Luther King Jr. Park near the corner of Sunflower Avenue and MLK Drive, in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Free and open to the public, the festivities start at 10am Sat, Aug 30th with the annual BBQ competition and music starts 11am. Food trucks will be onsite. The park includes a playground for kids. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. There will be a large tent on-site to provide extra shade. plus portalets nearby.
