The Rhode Island Half Marathon and 5K is BACK.

Choose from either the half marathon or 5K, which offer some of the best views in Rhode Island, including scenic views of Narragansett Bay and the iconic Providence skyline along the East Bay Bike Path. Both USATF-certified courses conveniently start and finish at Pierce Memorial Stadium in East Providence, RI.

Competitors in the half marathon and 5K races will each receive a BROOKS RUNNING technical race t-shirt as well as the 2025 Finisher’s Medal. See below for a closer look at both!

This event features a Post-Race party with great atmosphere with Live entertainment, Beer Garden, and food trucks at Pierce Memorial Stadium.

The Rhode Island Half Marathon will be capped at 2,000 participants. Once the field is sold out, a waitlist will be opened in the event more slots become available. Register today to reserve your spot on the start line with us!

Schedule:

Half Marathon Start Time: 7:30 AM
5K Start Time: 7:30am

Course Info:

- The Half Marathon course will no longer include the final hill of the 2024 course at Mile 12
- The Half Marathon & 5K races will start together at 7:30am at Pierce Field
- The 5K will follow Veteran’s Memorial Parkway with the half marathon before turning right onto the bike path at Kettle Point Ave. 5K Runners will take in the bike path and view of the Providence city skyline before heading back to finish on the track at Pierce stadium.
- Additional porta-potties at Pierce Field as well as on-course
