It is a two-day gathering of fans, scholars, writers, artists, historians and enthusiasts, all gathered together in fellowship to celebrate and discuss the life, work and legacy of the incomparable American Original, Robert E. Howard.

Schedule of Events:

9 am - 4 pm: Robert E. Howard House Museum & Grounds open to the public. The adjacent Alla Ray Morris Pavilion will be open all day until late night.

9 am - 10:30 am: Cross Plains Downtown Walking Tour. Meet at the Ice House (Reed Construction) on Main Street and walk in the steps of Bob Howard. Hosted by Rob Roehm.

10 am - 3 pm: Cross Plains Public Library open. Original Robert E. Howard typescripts, original Weird Tales/REH pulp magazines and other Howard items on display. Conan gaming with Jeb Boyt.

10 am - 4 pm: REH Foundation Press and Dealers Area open on grounds surrounding REH Museum.

11 am - 12 Noon: PANEL: The Mark Wheatley Hour. Come hear our 2025 Guest of Honor show and tell about his artistic involvement with Robert E, Howard. At the Cross Plains Methodist Church.

LUNCH BREAK

1:30 - 2:30 pm: PANEL: REH in 1935 - Professional and Personal. Panelists Bobby Derie, Will Oliver and John Bullard talk about Howard's later life and work. At the Cross Plains Methodist Church.

2:30 - 3 pm: PANEL: What's Up with REH? Come hear about contemporary Conan and all the current Howard Happenings. Panelists: Jeff Shanks, Paul Herman & others. At the Cross Plains Methodist Church.

4 pm: Tour of REH House Grounds: Paul Herman, Bill Cavalier and Jeff Shanks will lead a tour around the REH House, complete with photos showing REH at home.

Around 4 pm: Food Trucks will be available in the back yard for your dining pleasure. We expect to have BBQ, Tacos, Pizza and Ice Cream. You will pay for your own and then enjoy your dinner in the Pavilion

Around 5 pm: The Barbara Barrett Memorial Porchlight Poetry. An open mic REH Poetry Reading, done from the front porch of the Howard House. Interspaced throughout this event will be readings of Howard's masterpiece poem, "Cimmeria", in as many as 9 different languages. Hosted by Aurelia Wilder.

ALL DAY AND INTO THE EVENING: Howard Fellowship will take place and and around the Pavilion. Relax and enjoy meeting and conversing with fellow Howard fans from all over the world who have come to Cross Plains to honor the Legacy of Bob Howard!
