Schedule of Event:

5:00pm: Benjamin Beilman

Violinist Benjamin Beilman, praised for his passionate artistry and expressive tone, has been called "pure poetry" (The Strad) and "a prodigious artist" (Le Monde). Beilman performs with the dynamic pianist Serena Wang for a program of works by Brahms and Korngold; and then combine forces with cellist Edward Arron for Mendelsson’s Piano Trio No. 1, which Schumann claimed as "the master trio of our age."

KORNGOLD: Suite from Much Ado about Nothing, Op. 11

MENDELSSOHN: Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 49

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Janoska Ensemble is unable to perform in their June 14th concert. Rockport Music is thrilled violinist Benjamin Beilman, pianist Serena Wang and cellist Edward Arron will perform in their place.
