Join us for St. Paul Oktoberfest

Every fall, the Germanic-American Institute transforms into a lively hub of German celebration, hosting St. Paul Oktoberfest on its picturesque grounds. Inspired by the legendary Munich festival — and timed perfectly for Minnesota’s beautiful September weather - it’s two days packed with music, dancing, and mouthwatering German fare.

Savor authentic bratwurst, raise a stein of crisp German beer, and enjoy nonstop entertainment for all ages. From polka bands to cultural exchanges, St. Paul Oktoberfest features non-stop entertainment and fun for the whole family. Best of all the St. Paul Oktoberfest supports the GAI’s mission, with proceeds funding vital language and cultural education programs all year long.

Admission is free. Adults 21 and over may buy a $10 wristbands for beer and wine purchase with valid ID. No pets allowed, but service animals are always welcome.
