Join us For Our Spectacular 52nd Season

The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival is one of the most respected and renowned chamber music festivals in the world, and part of its allure, for audiences and musicians alike, is that it draws inspiration from its namesake hometown, which is famously and affectionately known as the City Different.

Schedule of Events

10:00 am - 11:00 am - Summer Young People’s Concert One at New Mexico Museum of Art

The Festival’s Summer Young People’s Concerts are a great opportunity to get kids excited about music. This summer, join conductor and arts educator Oliver Prezant for fun and friendly explorations of engaging works by Mozart and Prokofiev that feature Festival artists Paul Huang and Orion Weiss. A meet and greet with the artists immediately follows each concert.

6:00 pm - 7:45 pm - Schubert and Korngold at New Mexico Museum of Art

Pianist Juho Pohjonen opens this youthful program with a brilliant collection of short works that Schubert wrote toward the end of his tragically short life, and then violinist Yura Lee joins him for a work Schubert composed at age 20: the lyrical and exuberant Duo Sonata. An ensemble of six Festival musicians brings the program to a close with Korngold’s lush, late-Romantic String Sextet, which the Austrian prodigy wrote when he was 18 years old.
