Learn how to roll out fresh ramen noodles. Then put together your own tasty ramen bowl with traditional broths, specially prepared toppings, and flavorings.

Adding the vitality of human activity to a visual story can add so much! But how to make the figure look like it is animated and not stiff, that it is in proportion to the environment? We will explore a range of techniques to achieve this!

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Puppetry in Performance at Hammond Hall

The heart of puppetry is bringing an inanimate object to “life”. We will use found objects to discover how to bring the object/puppet to life through breath, movement, gaze and non-verbal storytelling. No previous fine art/performance experience necessary.

Woks are the oldest and most versatile cooking pans. Learn 4 ways (roasting, steaming, boiling, and stir-frying) to use woks to make great tasting recipes. Those in the know come hungry and bring leftover containers just in case! Chris will have copies of his popular cookbooks for sale and signing.
