August 2 - 3, 2024: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Watercolor Basics at Schoolhouse

Paint the coast you love! Sky, water, rocks, trees and more. If you have never painted in watercolors we will start at the beginning. If you have painted before, there are many tips and tricks for different results.

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Sun Prints/Cyanotypes at Winter Harbor Gym

This highly sensitive paper will react to light or lack of it to produce interesting "blue prints" where the participants will be able to experiment with texture, value, contrast and composition.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Chris Ross at Hammond Hall

Award-winning Maine singer-songwriter Chris Ross is a native of Hancock and 2014 winner of the "Songwriter of the Year" award at the New England Music Awards.
