Run/Walk across the Hanover Street Bridge!
Baltimore's citywide Juneteenth commemorations kick-off with the Run Up To Juneteenth, an uplifting event promoting the importance of health, wellness and education. Connecting the communities of Baltimore Peninsula and Cherry Hill, the route includes the scenic Hanover Street Bridge, and a short loop along the waterfront in Middle Branch Park, before turning around and heading back over the bridge. Start and finish will be at the fun-filled Race Village at Baltimore Peninsula, featuring music, entertainment, all-local food vendors/entrepreneurs and hands-on activities for children. Proceeds from the Run Up to Juneteenth benefit The SEED School of Maryland's College Transition & Success Program.

Awards will be given to the following:
Top three male and female overall
Top male and female in the following age groups: 6 and under, 7-11,12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+
