Are you ready to get Sham-Rocking? Join us for the annual Shamrock 5K Run / Walk at Aksarben Village (check-in Backlot Taphouse, 2110 S. 67th Street, Suite 108).
The Nebraska weather has been crazy! March is going to be here soon and St. Patrick’s Day is great way to get outside and enjoy the weather.
We are bringing you the Shamrock Run to start your day off running (I couldn’t resist the pun) and jump start your St. Patrick’s Day. Bring your green and orange and everything fun!
This is a family friendly event for participants of all ages and skill levels. The course will be along the Keystone Trail next to the Little Papillion Creek, one of the flattest areas of Omaha. The post-race activities will take place at Backlot Taphouse, 2110 S. 67th Street, Suite 108 with lots of giveaways from the surrounding merchants.
Run Course – Keystone Trail – The Shamrock Run will start and end on the Keystone Trail near Mercy Road. Athletes will head South on the trail to the turnaround and head back to the Finish Line.
Race Day Schedule
8:00 – 8:45 AM Packet Pickup
Pick up your race schwag
Race Day Registration available – Please bring cash or check.
8:55 AM – Race Briefing
There will be a quick race briefing on the Keystone Trail to answer any last-minute questions
9:00 AM – Race Starts
The run starts and ends on the Keystone Trail. The runners will start first, followed by the walkers.
10:00 AM – Post Event Activities
Once you finish the race head back to Backlot Taphouse, 2110 S. 67th Street, Suite 108 and start your recovery.
