Charismatic, athletic Manish is a young and talented street dancer from a poor Mumbai family. As an only son expected to support his parents, he struggles against their insistence that he follow a traditional path and take up his father's profession as a cab driver. When he secretly attends an inner-city dance school and tries a ballet class, he meets Yehuda, a curmudgeonly 70-year-old Israeli teacher, and a hunger develops within Manish.
