The Silver Lake Race on Sunday, has two options. All paddling craft are welcome. Paddlers can choose between racing (5 miles) or a shorter group paddle around the lake (approximately 2.5 miles). Awards and lunch will be available after the race. On-site registration available that morning will be $25 per person.
This is a fund raiser for Kuhn Employment Opportunities. This non-profit provides support for adults with disabilities find employment and become valued, independent and proud members of our community.
The Surfrider Foundation (for SUP racers only) will hold a head to head, single elimination sprint competition after the race. $25 cash entry on race day.
Schedule of Events
Registration starts at 9:30
10:55am: Race Meeting (at water's edge by ramp)
11:00am: Race start (1 minute apart)
5 mile Racers:
1. Surf skis and Kayaks
2. Canoes- 2 person
3. Canoes 1 person & OC- 1
4. Stand Up Paddleboards
5. Paddle around the lake- Recreation Paddlers
