The Singing Sands Sand Sculpting Festival is a three-day celebration of Michigan City’s beautiful lakefront and beach, taking place at Washington Park from July 18-20, 2025. The centerpiece of the event is a professional sand sculpting competition and exhibition, drawing some of the world’s most talented and well-known sand sculptors who will create incredible works of art in the city’s famous “Singing Sands!”

Saturday and Sunday admission is $5.00 per person. Children 6 and under can attend for free with a paying adult.
