This premier Nordic race includes distances for all ages and ability levels, with a 20K, 10K, 5K, 3K, and a free 1/2K. This is a skate, or freestyle, Nordic skiing event. There is no specific classic division and no classic tracks.

Schedule:

10:15 – 20km & 10km Half Half Moose Chase
10:20 – 5km Quarter Moose Chase
10:25 – 3km Mini Moose Chase
10:26 – 1/2km Miniest Moose Chase

Course Info:

There will be marked sections for each distance at the start area. The race will start and end at the same location in the stadium by the Cabin. For those of you familiar with the course at Trail Creek, we do not have Gut Flop in the course.
Aid Stations:

There will be an aid station with snacks and liquids for racers in the start/finish area.  20k Competitors will be able to access this station at the lap, which is at the 10k mark.  There are no other aid stations on the course so if you need food at intermediate points that is your responsibility.  
Race Waxing:

Temperatures are forecasted to be 10 AM race start, will be updated before the race.  The forecasted low the night before will be updated before the race.   Wax accordingly!
Skinny Skis Race Ski Demo:

Our title sponsor Skinny Skis will have race-ready top of the line demo skis available for any competitor who wants to try out some brand new race skis!  They will have a tent set up in front of the cabin, stop by if you want to try some brand new race gear!  
Facilities:

Trail Creek Nordic Center does not have an indoor warm up area or lockers for gear storage. Port-a-john restrooms are available.

Award ceremony will follow completion of the Moose Chase.
