On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Skokie's Backlot Dash 5K and Kids' Half Mile Color Fun Run will be held in Downtown Skokie (in and around the grounds of Skokie's Backlot Bash) and will include a half mile youth color run. The Kids' Half Mile Color Fun Run is an out and back course with white t-shirts provided. Runners will run through powdered colors thrown along the course.
