Raptor Fest is our annual celebration of live birds of prey, with delicious food and drinks, informative booths from our non-profit partners, stalls from local vendors, and a line up of awesome live music. Tickets are free and are now live!

Optional Pre-festival Field Trip: Guided Prairie Falcon Hike!

What: Hike through the Snake River Canyon (near Swan Falls Dam) to view prairie falcons and other raptors. Where: Meet at Dedication Point (https://maps.app.goo.gl/AqdzNS9AFbfkXqzW8) When: Meet Zoe & Eden at Dedication Point at 9:45. The group will then continue to Swan Falls Trail. Ends by ~11:15 so that folks can make it back to Indian Creek Winery for the start of Raptor Fest at noon. What to bring: Appropriate clothes and footwear for a short (1-2mile) leisurely hike, with lots of stopping to view falcons. Binoculars. Water! Sunglasses and sunscreen. How to get there: Go south on Swan Falls Rd from Kuna. Look for the Dedication Point Overlook sign (15 miles, 20 min from Kuna). From there, the group will drive down into the canyon at Swan Falls Dam and continue downstream to Swan Falls Trail. More details: We will provide a few spotting scopes. We will also bring a few extra pairs of binoculars. There is a vault toilet at the trailhead. Full restrooms available at SF Dam.
