Snowmass Celebrates 50 years of the Iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival

A long-standing Rocky Mountain tradition, the three-day event features 40+ festive balloons launching into the air early on Saturday and Sunday morning. The 50th anniversary celebrates Snowmass’ reputation as a hot air balloon destination in the fall and will feature more balloons than ever. This year will be the biggest mountain balloon festival in the state!

The 50th anniversary features more balloons than ever before, with 40 balloons, making the Snowmass event the biggest mountain balloon festival in the state. Arrive early to see the balloons before they go up in the sky, and grab some food to watch the mass ascension!
