For 36 years, the Stormy Weather Arts Festival on the first weekend in November has been one of Cannon Beach’s most popular events. You can immerse yourself in the creative culture that has long been a part of this community recognized as one of the 100 best art towns in America. The weekend offers musical performances and gallery events with the opportunity to meet renowned artists, see their latest works, or watch them demonstrate their techniques.

Join local artist, Dawning, for an evening of paint 'n' sip! Dawning will guide the class through various painting techniques to create a coastal image of "Through the Grass"! 2pm-5:30pm - Woodblock Print Haystack Rock Workshop

Join local print block artist Karina Andrews in a very special Stormy Weather Arts Festival workshop! In this hands-on workshop, participants will draw, carve, paint, and print their very own block print piece. Guided step-by- step, you'll be immersed in the details of this art form from carving your own block to the technique of mixing ink and color-laying for the finished print. 4pm-6pm - Out in the Field - Artist Reception

Internationally renowned photographer Randall J Hodges will be in the Images of the West Gallery showing his latest Out in the Field Video, showing off the back of his camera, and telling stories of his latest adventures. The gallery will be fully stocked including a host of new images. Light snacks and wine will be served.
4pm-8pm - Stormy Feathers at Archimedes Gallery

"Stormy Feather", an art show about birds by Erik Abel. The world of birds is a fascinating one, and Abel will be showcasing a new series of paintings, sculptures, and drawings dedicated to these amazing feathery friends. The Gallery will also be showcasing the work of Nina Williams.

Join us in Downtown Cannon Beach as the Beatniks rock the Coaster Theatre Playhouse in their artistic element.
