Benefiting Nadiaands Initiative
Founded by 2018 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Nadia Murad, Nadiaands Initiative (NI) is dedicated to rebuilding communities in crisis and advocating globally for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV).
Led by our founder, who is herself a survivor of ISIS captivity, NI fights on behalf of survivors of CRSV worldwide through targeted advocacy to hold perpetrators accountable and promote survivor-centric approaches to post-conflict healing and reconstruction.
NI also works to sustainably redevelop Sinjar, Iraq, which ISIS sought to destroy during its 2014 genocide against the Yazidi people.
This year, the 10th anniversary of the genocide, NI opened a comprehensive Womenands Center in Sinjar for survivors of ISIS violence and captivity – and we need all the help we can get to bring that Center to life and continue advocating for survivors for many years to come.

Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before July 30. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
