Where Eagles Soar Celebration

This year's celebration will honor the American Eagle with the theme "Where Eagles Soar!" Prepare for lively parades, toe-tapping live music, mouthwatering treats, an exciting ski show, and a dazzling fireworks display that will illuminate the night sky!

11 am: Flotilla Parade Nivens Landing to Windjammer 

Flotilla Parade Information

Pack your day red, white and blue on Friday, July 5th on the Lake and help us celebrate the birth of our nation, as well as the City of Tega Cay's 43rd birthday!

The "All-American Celebration" Flotilla will travel around the peninsula beginning at Niven's Creek Landing and end at Windjammer Park with announcements.

It is very important to the success of the parade and the full enjoyment and safety of all participants and spectators that you know your responsibilities. Please review the guidelines with your participants on the parade registration form. All entries must register to participate. No on-day participates will be accepted.

The Flotilla Parade will stage at Niven's Creek Landing beginning at 10:30 am with Float-Off at 11:00 am

Join us at Windjammer Park(8999 Windjammer Dr.) for an exciting day of competition and show by the Goat Boater and The Carolina Show Ski Team.

Tega Cay Flotilla Parade (Boats Float-Off Niven's Creek 11:00 am with arrival to Windjammer Park by Noon)  

Back by popular demand! The Tega Cay Boat Parade will float off at Niven's Creek and boat its way to Windjammer Park where judging will take place! Boats are expected to stage in Niven's Creek by 10:30am and float off by 11:00 am. Please see above tabs for Flotilla Parade registration.

11:15 am Freedom Fun Run Paddle Board Competition by Goat Boater

The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddle Boarding, & The City of Tega Cay presents The FREEDOM SUP Fun Run! Participants paddle a short course against friends and foes on July 5th. 

All ages, all abilities, no experience needed. Pre-Registration is highly encouraged. Day of registration is not guaranteed. This will be an elimination round paddle. The final winner takes home a 4th of July prize. 

Board, paddle and safety gear will be provided.

Noon: Carolina Ski Show Salute to the US of A at Windjammer

The Carolina Show Ski Team will dazzle audiences with daring jumps, spectacular pyramids and stunts. Hailed as one of Lake Wylie's most favorited attributes, the team will showcase their regionally and nationally recognized skills on the water! Because seating is limited, bring a blanket or chair to sit on.

6:30 pm Uncle Sam Jam featuring "Dixie Diamonds" at Runde Park

Uncle Sam Jam!  Part of Tega Cay's Annual 4th of July Celebration Runde Park (5116 Windward Drive) 6:30 PM - Kids Amusements Begin 7 PM -"The Diamond Dixie"

Diamond Dixie is a country music duo of sisters Gabriela and Bianca from Orlando, FL, now based in Nashville, TN. Their musical journey began in childhood under their father's guidance, leading to performances at various events by 2008. They gained recognition at prestigious venues like the House of Blues and CMA Fest. The duo engages with over 1 million fans on social media and collaborates with brands like Neutrogena and FOX. They've performed for major artists and opened for acts like Darius Rucker and Brad Paisley. In November 2020, they were crowned champions of Ole Red's Battle of the Bands.
Food trucks, and a beer truck, will be on site serving up some of your favorite drinks, treats and meals.

Free Kids Zone: Kids, ages 3 to 13, can enjoy light amusements and an open space to play games.
