Let Freedom Ring is a community-sponsored event to celebrate Independence Day. Your donation can help make our event a successful one that continues for many years to come.

A Celebration with a Bang

Schedule of Events

7:30AM - BREAKFAST FOR VETERANS & FIRST RESPONDERS at Pavilion
Free breakfast served to veterans and first responders (incl firefighters, emergency personnel & Acadian Ambulance).

3:00PM - Opening Ceremony at Pavilion
We kick off the festivities with a color guard from Thibodaux High JROTC & a flag-raising, bugle playing of Taps and 1 21-gun salute by local veterans.

3:30PM - Bike Contest Registration Opens at Information table under Pavilion
Register to compete in the Bike Decorating Contest for prizes recognizing most patriotic and most creative.

3:30PM - Cornhole tournament begins
Compete for the championship of our first Cornhole Tournament in festival history!

3:30PM - Silent Auction Begins at Municipal Building
Don't miss your chance to bid on the amazing items in our silent auction.

4:00PM - Live Music Craig Babin at Pavilion
Catch Cajun, country and swamp pop tunes from Craig Babin from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

6:00PM - Bike contest judging & awards at Pavilion
Be ready to show off your creative skills with the bike judging and awards.

6:30PM - Bike Parade at Pavilion
Grab your wheels and ride for your freedom with our bike parade immediately following the decorating contest.

7:00PM - Live Music With The Whitney Rae Band at Pavilion
Join us for country and classic hits from the 1990s-2000s and classic rock.

9:00PM - Fireworks Display Begins at Park grounds
Let the Freedom Ring out with our stunning fireworks to light up the sky.
