The 5K Shamrock Run is a community event fun for the whole family to enjoy in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! Great opportunity to run on the last mile of the historic Wearin' of the Green St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Baton Rouge. This is the 6th year for the Shamrock Run and we love the excitement it generates!
Crossing the finish line is just the beginning! Join us for a fabulous after party behind Moreau’s and don’t forget the 40th Wearin' of the Green, St.Patrick's Day Parade rolls immediately after the run. WEAR YOUR GREEN!

7:00am - Race Day Packet Pickup Opens behind Moreau Physical Therapy
8:00am - 5K Shamrock Run Start
8:00am - Finisher After Party opens behind Moreau Physical Therapy
8:45am - Awards Ceremony
Awards – First 500 finishers receive a unique 2025 Shamrock Run finisher medal.
Awards will still be given to the top 10 male and top 10 female finishers after the race compliments of Brooks Running.
