Tackle the Potawatomi & Crooked Lake Trails with us as we celebrate 37 years of trail! The course is neither flat nor fast, but it is a beautiful loop with constant hills through Pinckney State Recreation Area. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to the John Rogucki Memorial Fund.

Schedule of Events

Packet Pickup:
Friday (4/26) - 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Erratic Ale Co in Dexter, MI. (8080 Grand St., Suite 3, Dexter, MI 48130)
Race day - 6:30am to 7:45am at the start and finish at Silver Lake.

Start:
Half Marathon - 8:00am
Full Marathon - 8:00am
50K - 8:00am
5M - 8:10am

Course Overview

5 Mile: Five tough but beautiful miles along the Crooked Lake path! As hilly as any section of the half or full marathon, this is a kick **** trail course that is sure to please ... and beat you to a pulp!

Half & Full: The course is a 13.1 mile single track loop through lower Michigan wilderness. Constant hills and beauty including views of 10 lakes. It's a wide, well used trail with opportunity to pass.

50K: Same 26.2 miles as the marathon with one loop of Crooked Lake Trail at the end.

The 50K will have the opportunity to drop to the full.

Post-race & Awards

Post-race: Join us for a slice of pizza, a beer from Erratic Ale Co., and a fun post-race party with bonfires and music brought to you by the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative and the Border to Border Trail!

Awards:
Every finisher earns a custom finisher wooden medallion at the finish line.
Overall awards to top 3 men and women and age group awards that go three-deep in five year age group.
First Overall Man & Woman over 50 in the marathon will have their name engraved in the John Rogucki Plaque
John Rogucki Memorial Fund Since John's death in 1997, The "John, 'Road Kill', Rogucki Trail Marathon Memorial Stump" has been present at the race as a remembrance of John and his love for this trail. Each year RF Events donates a portion from each marathon entry fee to the John Rogucki memorial fund and honors the first place over 50 male and female finishers in the marathon by adding their name to it.
