Honor those who have served this Veteran's Day by participating your way. Runners, walkers, ruckers, strollers, and wheelchair racers all are welcome! Presented by UAB Veteran Services, this annual event directly benefits the UAB Veteran Relief Fund. This award aids veteran and dependent students who may need help purchasing books, finding housing, seeking medical care, and much more.
Join us in celebrating the 106th anniversary of Armistice Day, now known as Veterans Day. The tradition began in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1947, and we’re proud to continue it. Be part of this meaningful event and show your support for our veterans and UAB's student veteran community.

- The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will not be a timed event and no race numbers will be provided.
- Please note: a t-shirt is optional & not included in the adult 1-mile fun run/walk registration. There is an option to purchase an adult-sized t-shirt for the adult 1-mile fun run/walk registration before you checkout.
- Parents and guardians are encouraged to walk with children who are registered for the walk.
