Simon Spine 5K:

Our Family Friendly Simon Spine 5K is perfect for everyone - from runners to walkers! It's a great way for families and friends to enjoy being outside together. Every 5K participant receives a Finisher shirt and medal. Children under age 9 must be accompanied by a registered and participating adult.

Be sure to sign up for the "Fittest School Challenge" - by choosing your school team during registration.  If your school team is not listed, be sure to contact us. [email protected]. You can elect to start or become a part of a "team". The team can consist of participants from the 5K, Half or Full Marathons.  School Challenge: Are you part of the "fittest" school in town? The school with the most participants (combined from all 3 events) will win the right to display our Fittest School Traveling Trophy for the next year and $250.00 in PE equipment.  There are 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes as well. Jan Schiff Elementary was the 2024 Fittest School.....Will your school take the Trophy away?  Schools must have a minimum of 25 participants to be considered.

School teams with at least 25 participants (combined from all 3 events) also benefit by receiving a donation from the USA Fit Marathon of $5.00 per participant. (Participants using a discount code to register do not qualify.) Shottenkirk Kia - Fort Bend Half Marathon:

The 17th annual Shottenkirk KIA - Fort Bend Half Marathon is pleased to accept runners and walkers of all abilities. The minimum age to participate in the half marathon is 8 years old. The event starts at 6:30 a.m. Water/Aid Stations will be open until the last participant passes by. Half Marathon participants have 6 hours to complete the course. Registration will remain open until until the event fills.  The Half Marathon usually fills in early January.

All participants receive a long sleeve, quarter zip, pullover if registered by January 6. After that short sleeve tech shirts will be available. Medals are awarded to all participants at the finish line.

USA Fit Marathon:

The 17th annual USA Fit Marathon is pleased to accept runners and walkers of all abilities. The minimum age to participate in the marathon event is 11 years old.

The marathon will have two wave starts. The first wave will be at 4:30 a.m., and will be for all participants taking 5:50 or more hours to complete the marathon. Anyone walking the event should be in this wave. The 4:30 a.m. start group participants do not qualify for overall or age group awards (If you are unsure if you fit in this category, email us at [email protected])
The second wave will start at 6:30 a.m. Water/Aid Stations will be open until the last participant passes by.

The finish line will remain open for the last participant and we promise food, shirts, and medals to all finishers. Registration will remain open until the event fills.

Long sleeve, quarter zip pullovers are guaranteed through January 6. After that, short sleeve shirts will be available. Medals will be awarded at the finish line.
