RADA 2025 Production Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare Presented by Royal Academy of Dramatic Art

As part of the Festival’s artist exchange program with London’s famed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), their students will present a condensed touring production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, July 29-August 2, 2025. The emphasis is on the art of contemporary Shakespeare performance and training from the Bard’s homeland.

Backstage Tour: 10:00am

Peek behind the scenery and into the Festival’s various production areas to see how all the enchantment comes together. These informative tours are led by Festival actors and artists who can share their backstage knowledge with you. Participants must navigate stairs, though ADA routes are available if requested.

Tours start promptly at 10:00 a.m. Late arrivals may not be able to join a tour in progress. Tickets for late arrivals may be exchanged to another date, subject to availability. No refunds.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder: 2:00pm

In this hilarious Tony Award-winning musical, when Monty Navarro, a man of humble origins, discovers he is eighth in line to inherit an earldom in the distinguished D’Ysquith family, he realizes his chances of outliving these pesky relatives (all played by one actor!) are slim. So, he hatches a far darker plan of disposing of his unsuspecting relations without being caught in order to claim the title of Ninth Earl of Highhurst. All the while, he is also juggling romance in this uproarious musical comedy.

 The women of 1980s Chinquapin, Louisiana, gather each week in wise-cracking Truvy Jones’s popular beauty salon where she does the hair of such locals as the rich curmudgeon Ouiser, the eccentric millionaire Miss Clairee, and the socialite M’Lynn whose daughter Shelby is about to get married. As these women make their way over life’s many ups and downs together, they find comfort, love, friendship–and a fair amount of verbal ribbing–in one another’s company.
