Celebrating Winter on the Northern Plains

Vinterfest is a month-long celebration of winter, here on the Northern Plains. The festival seeks to promote educational, recreational, and cultural heritage programming throughout central North Dakota for the public’s enjoyment. From artisan workshops to cross-country skiing, Vinterfest invites you to learn new hobbies and share in time-honored traditions.

Embrace the winter season with Winter Wellness, a Scandinavian-inspired experience that highlights Nordic traditions.

Start with a calming outdoor yoga session on the labyrinth, then warm up indoors with an interactive exploration of the health benefits of dairy, a staple of Scandinavian diets.

This event is the perfect way to connect with nature, nourish your body, and enjoy quality time with friends and family.
