The Virginia 10 Miler is a beloved Lynchburg tradition, attracting runners from all over the country for its scenic course and exciting atmosphere. Challenge yourself on this 10-mile course that winds through the heart of charming Lynchburg, VA.

Course Route
Runners proceed north on Langhorne Road, downhill for 1.5 miles (Farm Basket Hill) and run to Rivermont Terrace (3.0/7.0 miles). After a short distance on Rivermont Terrace, runners turn east onto historic Rivermont Avenue passing Randolph College (4.0/6.0 miles). and follow the course clockwise through Riverside Park overlooking the James River (5.0 miles). Runners return the same route finishing up the infamous, 1.5 mile “Farm Basket” hill.

TIME LIMIT: 2.5 hours
Participants must be past the following areas to avoid disqualification:

Rivermont Avenue: 9:30 a.m.
Langhorne Road / Crane Hill Drive: 10 a.m.
Finish Line Closes: 10:30 a.m.
